Career Center’s team of professionals are providing customized
training and consultative services for the diverse needs of the
community. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of
workers and the specific needs of our clients. The following
areas of training are currently being provided:

Human Resource
Development
|
Human Resource Development covers a broad range of programs,
from supervisory training to developing employee skills. The
skills presented in this program are a necessity for your
employees to become successful in the work environment. The
classes provide employees with specific skills that can be
utilized in their job immediately. Customized programs can
be developed to fit the culture of your work environment and
can be conducted on-site or at the Career Center. |

Public Safety
Services |
Public
Safety Services offers public safety training in
Firefighting, Emergency Vehicle Driver Training and
Emergency Medical Technician. All levels of the State of
Ohio Firefighting certification training programs are
offered. EMT Basic and EMT Refresher training courses are
offered and are accredited by the State of Ohio. Fire
training courses are conducted at local Fire Department
facilities and the EMT courses are conducted at the Medina
County Career Center. |

Diversified
Industrial Training
|
Providing customized industrial training in the areas of
Multi-Craft Curriculum Training, including basic skills in
pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, mathematics, and
metrology. Instruction is also provided in Quality Control,
Problem Solving, Statistical Process Control, ISO 9001:2000,
(Overview, Internal Auditor, Lead Auditor, Corrective Action
and updating from ISO 9001:1994), OSHA Compliance for
General Industry and The Construction Trades. Facility
Health Care training is provided including First-Aid, CPR,
and AED. Specialty training provided includes Drug & Alcohol
Awareness for employees, management and security personnel,
and customized Challenge Course routines designed to
maximize team development skills on a full size obstacle
course. |

Diversified
Health Training |
The
Diversified Health Training Program offers over ten medical
and dental occupational courses to meet community and
employer needs. Pertinent customized health occupational
training can be provided to employers on-site or at the
Career Center. |

Computer and
Office
Skills Training |
The
COST program at Medina County Career Center offers and
delivers customized computer training to business and
industry. We can tailor our software classes to the needs of
your employees as well as develop specialized course
curriculum. Classes can be scheduled in our cutting edge lab
or at your own site. Courses can be targeted to the beginner
user up to advanced levels. |
