Basic Police Academy
   

The Basic Police course required to be a certified police officer is offered at the Medina County Career Center. Classes are taught by qualified instructors using Ohio Peace Officer Training curriculum.

Full-Time Course
Financial Aid available for qualified students

Candidates must be 21 years of age by course completion, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, pass a pre-test, clear a background check, and provide verification of a recent physical. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to receive college credit through the University of Akron or Lorain County Community College. Classes begin Winter 2008.

Mon - Thurs: 6:30p - 10:30p
Saturdays: 8:00a - 5:00p
